About dry hire

Dry Hire means you are just hiring the beds and mattresses. You supply the crew to deliver, erect, manage, dismantle & reload, and choose your transport.

You can either collect the beds & mattresses from our warehouse in central Bristol or we can arrange the transport with our hauliers.

Delivery quotes can be supplied when discussing your booking, to help you weigh up your options.

Our warehouse is behind IKEA, Bristol, BS5 6XX, just off Junction 2 of the M32, and it’s outside the Clean Air Zone.

We will happily load the beds with a forklift if you collecting, which are on stillages. The stillages can be manually handled if no forklift is available on site.

Your team on site would unload the equipment on arrival, which is suitable for forklifting or manual handling.

Hauliers give a 1 hour window to unload your delivery.

You provide the people power to install the hired beds. Only competent operatives should handle the equipment, so it is erected safely and to the proper standard.

We will provide full guidance pre-event.

The beds are robust and take little to no maintenance once set up. The main thing to be aware of is if your client moves a bed, that the legs are still full expanded.

We will give you all the relevant advice for weight limits and general maintenance for safety.

The beds and mattresses should be kept clean and dry.

We will provide you with pack-down instructions for your hired beds to help ensure they are repacked correctly.

You can return the equipment to our warehouse in Bristol, or if it’s being collected you will need to have the equipment ready to go when the booked transport arrives as scheduled.

Load it on, check it’s all there, and wave it off.

Often hired for use in tents, our stillages of beds can come wrapped to protect against adverse weather conditions during set up and take down. You would be responsible for managing this, and returning the beds and mattresses clean and dry, treating them as if they were your own.

Equipment hires are subject to a Security Deposit, relative to the scale of your booking. Payable 1 week before your booking is dispatched, returned to you once the goods have been checked at the warehouse.

Our Beds and mattresses need to be insured whilst on hire. If your own insurance doesn’t cover them in transit and onsite, we offer a very affordable temporary insurance policy to cover you. It’s simple and convenient, and we are happy to arrange this for you.
